Licence Upgrades

Congratulations to Clem Halpin and Delcan Higgins who have gone up a category in the last few weeks.

Clem Halpin gained his 3rd cat by racing at Hillingdon Circuit throughout the year. Clem dedicated getting his 3rd cat license in memory of Dave Peck.

Declan Higgins has achieved his 2nd cat license, Declan has raced up and down the UK in 2011 winning a circuit race at Thorney Island and numerious other top 10 performances.

Cyclo-Cross Training

Mac will be running cyclo-cross training sessions at Old Deer Park starting this coming Thursday (6th October) at Old Deer Park, next to Pools-on-the-Park, and running through to December.

•Sessions will start at 7pm and finish at 8.30pm. (Don't worry if you can't get there for the start you can turn up at any time during the session and join in.)
•The sessions are free of charge.
•You will need your own bike, either a cyclo-cross bike or a mountain bike.
•Please bring with you a drink and snack.
•Riders U18 will require a completed and signed Parental Consent Form - There will be forms available at the sessions or you can download from the website.
•Car Parking at Pools-on-the-Park (TW9 2SF) and at Old Deer Park (TW9 3RA) opposite is free after 6.30pm

The sessions will take place in the park alongside the A316 to take advantage of the street lighting and the banking. We will look to improve riders skills and abilities as well as helping with overall fitness and as part of the sessions we will explore race tactics for those taking part in cyclo-cross races particularly those in the Central League looking at the different courses and the best way to tackle them.
